(Poetry: the best words in the best order.)。

The best words in the best order.

Do not go gentle into that good night.

The Night’s Watch Oath守夜者誓言(George Martin)《Game of Thrones 权利的游戏》改编自《A Song of Ice and Fire》

(Michael Jackson)

Do not stand at my grave and weep(M Frye)这首打动了无数人并被改编成英文歌曲I am a thousand winds的诗用词非常简单。

(W. Wilcox)Laugh,and the world laughs with you;Weep,and you weep alone. Sing,and the hills will answer;Sign,it is lost on the air. Rejoice,and the men will seek you;Grieve,and they turn and go.  Feast,and your halls are crowded;Fast,and the world goes by.

Icarry your heart with me. (E. Cummings)When you are old 当你老了(W.B. Yeats) How many loved your moments of glad Grace,and loved your beauty with love false or true,but one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,and loved the sorrow of your changing face.

The Apache Wedding Prayer

Now you will feel no rain,for each of you will be shelter to the other. Now you will feel no cold,for each of you will be warmth to the other. Now there is no more loneliness,for each of you will be companion to the other. Now you are two bodies,but there is only one life before you.  Go now to your dwelling place,to enter into the days of your togetherness. And may your days be good and long upon the earth.

Annabel Lee (Allan Poe)Bright Star(John Keats)To Autumn (Keats)When We Two Parted(George Byron)

When we two parted,in silence and tears,half broken-hearted,to sever for years.… In silence and tears,这是天下失恋者共有的体会。

Love is so short.

Forgetting is so long.

All the world’s a stage(William Shakespeare)All the worlds a stage,and all the men and women merely players;they have their exits and their entrance,and one man in his time plays many parts.

If you can dream and not make dreams your master,If you can think and not make thoughts your aims;If you can meet with Triumph and Disater,and treat those人impostors just the same;If you can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds’worth of distance run.……

On Children(K.Gibran)

Your children are not your children,they are the sons and the daughters of Life’s longing for itself.  They come through you but not from you. And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.……

Ecclesiastes《传道书3:1-8》(The Holy Bible)

For everything there is a season,and a time for every matter under heaven;a time to be born,and a time to die;a time to break down,and a time to build up;a time to weep,and a time to laugh;a time to keep silence,and a time to speak;a time to mourn,and a time to dance;a time to love,and a time to hate…

A great poem is a fountain forever overflowing with the water of wisdom and delight. - P. Shelley

Walt Disney

You’ll be a poorer person all your life if you dont know some of the great stories and the great poems.

Solitude

Laugh, and the world laughs with you;

Weep, and you weep alone.

For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth,

But has trouble enough of its own.

Sing, and the hills will answer;

Sigh, it is lost on the air.

The echoes bound to a joyful sound,

But shrink from voicing care.

Rejoice, and men will seek you;

Grieve, and they turn and go.

They want full measure of all your pleasure,

But they do not need your woe.

Be glad, and your friends are many;

Be sad, and you lose them all.

There are none to decline your nectared wine,

But alone you must drink lifes gall.

Feast, and your halls are crowded;

Fast, and the world goes by.

Succeed and give, and it helps you live,

But no man can help you die.

There is room in the halls of pleasure

For a long and lordly train,

But one by one we must all file o

Through the narrow aisles of pai
