绿化环保协会成立于2006年3月12日，以广州市环保局林智海先生、广州市环境宣传教育中心袁淑文女士为顾问，以管理系陈达宏书记、利键文老师为指导。协会立足校园，面向社会，自成立后得到学院领导、社会环保部门的大力支持。以广州市环境保护宣传教育中心为指导单位与世界绿色和平（国际性组织）、黄河源环境保护促进会、天河区环境保护局建立合作关係。并与龙洞街道办事处取得友好联繫成为广东省高校环保社团联盟成员，与30多所联盟环保社团取得交流、发展。 绿化环保协会成立以来，一直致力于学院及社会的环保事业，不断推广环保知识，努力提高学生们的环保意识及社会实践能力。每学期在校内校外都有丰富多彩的环保活动。在05级成员的不懈努力下，协会不断发展壮大，成为学院优秀社团之一。原协会会长彭暖龙还荣获“广东省十大环保学生杰出成就奖”。协会承办的活动也越办越精彩，影响越来越大，例如协会的特色活动之一：定向寻标赛。协会已成功举办了几次大型的定向寻标比赛，获得了各大高校参赛选手的好评。

And obtains with the natural tunnel subdistrict office in a friendly way contacts with into Guangdong Province university environmental protection mass organization alliance member, obtains the exchange, the development with more than 30 alliance environmental protection mass organization.Since the afforested environmental protection association has been founded, has devoted to the institute and society's environmental protection enterprise, promotes the environmental protection knowledge unceasingly, raises students' environmental consciousness and social practice ability diligently. Each semester extracurricular has the richly colorful environmental protection activity in the school. Under 05 level of member's unremitting efforts, the association grows strong unceasingly, becomes one of institute outstanding mass organizations. Original association President Peng Nuanlong also has the honor to receive “the Guangdong Province ten big environmental protection student outstanding achievement award”. The association undertakes the activity also more manages is more splendid, affects is getting bigger and bigger, for example one of association's characteristic activities: The direction detection seeks the sign match. The association successfully holds several large-scale direction detections to seek the sign competition, has obtained each big university contestant's high praise.

2006年5月16-20日举行了“关爱西部教育、共建和谐社会”的系列活动。2006年5月27日协会承办了社团联合会主办的“缤纷社联—第一届定向寻标大赛”2006年10月12日，举行了“绿化环保协会第一次动员大会”邀请了黄河源环境保护促进会秘书长李根给我们做了演讲动员。2006年10月28日协会30名代表来到天河城宏城广场前参加了由广州市环保局、广州市环境保护宣传教育中心联合举办的“创建环保模仿城市、营造和谐绿色广州”的大型宣传活动。2006年11月16日协会承办了社团联合会主办的“缤纷社联—第二届定向寻标大赛”2006年11月22日-28日举行了“温馨圣诞、温馨元旦”的“关爱西部教育、阳光助学义卖活动”并参与了 “水果换贺卡” 广东高校环保社团的联合行动。2007年1月27—2月1日协会举办了由学院团委主办的“情系学子心、关注食品药品安全、促建和谐新农村”梅州大埔 “三下乡”社会实践活动。2007年1月6日协会承办了由我们学院团委与广州市环境保护宣传教育中心联合主办的“第五届广东高校环保社团交流会”200710月20日协会与製药系团总支学生会开展了该院首届“绿色校园迎奥运”定向寻标赛。11月24日，我协会续获得“保护国际小额基金资助项目”后首次野外定向寻标大赛在广东树木公园盛大举行12月20日我协会回响海峡两岸青年教育发展慈善基金会、香港环境保护协会开展的“万米中国龙、两岸四地百万师生共同唱响绿色奥运”活动。在校外宿舍区开展“手牵手、心连心，唱响绿色奥运” 记录我们的2008历史印记，展现我们灿烂的笑容，永远与绿色奥运连在一齐！12月23日--12月25日下午4:30-6:00“关注黄河源、保护母亲河”学生宿舍爱心大回收及义卖，问卷调查。2008年4月1日在龙洞龙圣学校开展了环教2008年4月12日绿色奥运、全民健身——百米寻标赛

4月27日在龙洞步行街开展“关爱自己，关爱生活，共创美好环境”的大型宣传活动。
