创作背景
由迪士尼频道情景喜剧《Hannah Montana》一炮走红的童星Miley Cyrus，带着其父亲、乡村音乐歌手Billy Ray Cyrus的音乐遗传基因再次出击，发行了她的第二张个人专辑《Breakout》。Miley Cyrus称这张专辑是自己成人的标誌，“除了两首歌之外，其他歌曲的歌词都是我自己写的。我的上一张专辑《Meet Miley Cyrus》只是让人们认识我，知道我是谁。而这一张则更深层次地表现出在过去的一年里我都做了些什幺。”该专辑的第一首单曲《7 Things》已于六月发行，当即冲进Billboard Hot 100单曲榜前十。
