说到Vengaboys还得把锐舞抬出来-- Vengaboys的成长和发家的历史与欧美的锐舞风潮是密不可分的。当年乐团的雏形就是两位DJ在组织了无数场非法海滩舞会之类之后才构建出来。 Vengaboys在1996年和1997年发行了版本数量有限的地下俱乐部单曲，而在1996年秋季，他们还只是打算在全世界来个巡迴舞会。因为大家都知道负责製作音乐的Danski 和Delmundo长得太丑陋了，而且完全不懂跳舞，所以他们找来Kim和她的一帮人做表演，而Danski 和Delmundo则有足够的时间去继续创作和做DJ，这样也就组成了Vengaboys四人组。
